The Lord is Good, and he comforts me.
The Lord is good.
The only reason why i can be here and smiling, is because he has been good.. So good to me. I have been feeling kinda down, and as usual, no one notices. But I was getting very weary, and i was really feeling bad.. So, i decided to turn to God. I prayed, and when i just went to do my TAWG, i randomly flipped my bible open, and it was turned to this chapter, Isaiah 40. The subtitle was ‘Comfort for God’s People’. Immediately, I knew it was from God. I started to thank him and started to read what he was gonna tell me. Well, I claim the promise and the hope in it in Jesus name. ‘Comfort, Comfort my people, says your God. Speak Tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed,….that she has reacieved from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins’
‘Why do you say, O Jacob, and complain, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord; My cause is disregarded by my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, They will walk and not be faint.’
